Enkind Epilogue

This is the last entry for Enkind for a while. It completes the story arc I have set out for it. The story came out to fifteen thousand words, I am going to set it aside for a few months and then come back to it, fleshing it out into a complete novel. I have a lot of ideas for different scenes to add in, and awkward parts to rewrite. When its done I think this will be the best story I have written yet. Stay tuned to my blog, I have many other stories I have been waiting to write. Next week we will start the story of Constance, a mage who lives alone in the mountain when he is forced to rescue refugees from the evil empire.

He chatted amicably with the other participants for a few moments, but soon let …

It glared down on a short squat man standing rigidly watching the tournament ground below. The man did not flinch when the sun hit his face. He did not cup his eyes, nor turn his face away. …

Enkind Prologue

https://www.patreon.com/cadencewriting A distant rumble sounded across the plains, it echoed off the mountains and reverberated through the small village at the base of the mountains. The villagers glanced at the impending storm clouds and finished up their chores, hurrying to get inside before the rain started. Storms were a normal part of life in the …
